If this doesn’t inspire you and brighten your day then you may not be inspire-able or able to be brightened!

Anvil movie poster

Anvil the rockumentary. Anvil was a hair metal band from the 80’s and from Canada. They are making a documentary of their recent world tour and quite simple this movie looks quite epic. I does look, however, like we are going to have to wait till it comes out on DVD to see it.

Apparently they try harder in Mexico!

DAY 2
We are staying in Felippe Carrillo Puerto in the Yucantan Peninsula, Mexico.

Breakfast in the courtyard of our hotel. Charging up for a long day of work

About 2 hours south of Carrillo Puerto we went to the Organic farm of Gualberto (on the right). A truly innovative and inspiring man. He went back to school to learn how to farm organically so that he could be a leader in his community and encourage entrepreneurial endeavors to keep jobs local.

He showed us some of the many vegetable and herbs that he grows

Oregano I believe

Magic fruit

One of the three types of basil be grows

basil again

Los Tomatoes

Purple Basil

Mico Tunel that he uses to cultivate plants. Protects them from heavy rain and insects… and it looks cool!

A type of lettuce

We were put to work harvesting beets.
