I’m writing this to you from a quirky little cafe just around the corner from where I’m living in Astoria, NY. It’s a great find, nestled amidst a plethora of greek restaurants and cozy little suburban homes. Free WiFi and good coffee! Waltz Astoria
A couple weeks ago I was extremely lucky and honored to be featured on The Dieline:

and then AGAIN! a few days later. What?! The Dieline is one of my favorite websites ever, and they update multiple times a day with brand new and beautiful packaging design.
I promise to update soon with some photos of projects that I just finished up. All I’m saying is that one is a wedding invitation poster (crazy right!) and the other is a CD package/poster for Dustin Pence… both were 2 color screenprints and I can’t wait to share them with you. Love always, Mike.
aaaaahhhh! Mike! I’m so happy for you! So freakin’ sick. You deserve it. Mega congrats!!! I can’t wait to see what you’ve been working on. So you’ve officially moved to New York? I take it the internship went well? Are you working at Mucca?
thanks allison! I am back in NYC for now. I have a new (paid) internship at a place called Landor! very cool place so far. How is the YMCA treating you?
That’s awesome! You’re really making a name for yourself. I admire that. The YMCA is treating me well. Diverse projects, but unfortunately they are all in the same aesthetic vein… but I guess you’ll have that working as an in-house designer. In any case, they pay me well, so that’s good enough for now. ha! I hope to soon be doing what you’re doing though, trying things out in NYC. Are you living out there by yourself? Is it burning holes straight through your pockets?
