We established the branding of dispatch with everything from a custom logo to a unique color palette and typography. It was a great experience to work with the amazing team at Dispatch. The officially unofficial Brooklyn Supper Club

There is nothing better than getting together with a group of friends to eat, drink, and be merry. We just made it official, well unofficially. I even get my hands dirty as the assistant to the chefs, mostly because of my top notch garlic chopping skillz. Not to brag or anything, but I know my way around a chef’s knife… well, assistant to the chef’s knife.

Each supper club has a deliciously themed menu cooked up by the amazing Katie Levy, Even Garfield, and Sarah Tobing. They pull off some amazingly difficult dishes that blow us away every time.

Charlotte, or “Chucklette” as my brother affectionately calls her, is my beautiful new niece.

I took the opportunity to flex my hand lettering skills to create these announcements. Printed these by hand at the letterpress studio The Arm right here in Brooklyn. I tried to capture the idea of classic city postcards while giving it a quirky McVicar touch.

Masthead for the University of Florida
alumni magazine.

Designed in collaboration with the Florida Foundation. The concept for this custom masthead was creating a typeface based on the UF monogram. I was striving to create a feel for the magazine that is both modern but still spoke to the culture of the University.

These concepts were for a new product bringing you Starbucks iced coffee even when there isn’t a barista in sight. There were many conceptual approaches for this project that touched on everything from the emotions of enjoying a cup of coffee to the icon brews of American cities.
